Maximum Destruction Driver Change

Tom Meents and Maximum Destruction at the 2016 Monster Jam World Finals

Tom Meents, the 11-time Monster Jam World Finals champ and pilot of Maximum Destruction will not compete on the FS1 Tour due to a lower back injury. His son, Colton Eichelberger will take over driving duties until further notice. Newcomer Blake Grainger will take over for Colten on the Monster Jam Triple Threat East Series. Even though the drivers are changing series, the points accrued for Max D on each series will remain the same.

We hope that Tom gets well. It has been a tough year for our Monster Jam legends. First, Dennis Anderson gets injured and now Meents. It leaves me to wonder if they will both step out of the driver’s seat after the 2017 season.
